Refund Policy

Counseling & Treating People of Colour: An International Perspective Conference, also referred to as CTPOC:IP, is committed to providing a clear and transparent refund policy for conference attendees, speakers, students, sponsors, and guests.
Conference Registration Fees
All conference registration fees are nonrefundable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Early Bird Registration
- Regular Registration
- Student Registration
- Approved Speaker Registration
Once a registration payment has been completed, refunds will not be issued for cancellations, schedule conflicts, travel issues, illness, failure to attend, or other personal circumstances.
Registration Transfers
At the discretion of CTPOC:IP, registration may be transferred to another eligible attendee if the request is made in writing before the conference. Transfer requests are not guaranteed and must be reviewed and approved by the conference organizers.
Event Changes
CTPOC:IP reserves the right to adjust conference programming, speakers, schedules, sessions, event details, or related activities as needed. These changes do not qualify for a refund.
Event Cancellation
If the conference is canceled by CTPOC:IP, attendees will be notified regarding available options. These options may include a credit, transfer, rescheduled event option, or other remedy determined by the conference organizers.
Travel and Hotel Costs
CTPOC:IP is not responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, meals, parking, airline fees, hotel deposits, or other expenses incurred by attendees. Attendees are encouraged to review hotel, airline, and travel provider cancellation policies before making reservations.
Payment Processing
Conference payments may be processed through third-party platforms such as Ticket Falcon and Stripe. Any payment processing fees, platform fees, transaction fees, or service fees may be subject to the policies of those providers.
